Long-time supporter of the Tyler Foundation, the Tokyo American Club, hosted an energy-infused musical extravaganza of artists to raise funds for the victims for the Great East Japan Earthquake. The Tyler Foundation was one of the beneficiaries and the event was open to the general public.
The event featured a speech from the American hip-hop act Arrested Development, Japanese-American tenor John Ken Nuzzo, Steve Gardner and the Jericho Road Show with Nashville’s Bill Steber, Mike Price Jazz Band with song stylists Harvey Thompson & Andrea Hopkins, and Mori Yasumasa, better known as J’Elvis!
In addition to an outstanding line-up of entertainment, the evening offered guests a fantastic array of auction and raffle prizes. Sponsors included Aman Resorts, United Airlines, Hilton Hotels, Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency and many more. The philanthropic evening was emceed by actress Lisle Wilkerson and included an exquisite dinner and the chance to meet the artists in a VIP reception before the concert!
We are very grateful to the Tokyo American Club for this wonderful event.
