Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are an important asset to our non-profit organization. We have a very small paid staff and therefore rely at times on volunteers to help with programs, office work, and events. Our diverse volunteers have been – and continue to be – vital to carrying out the mission of Shine On! Kids. It is also a great way to connect with the community and use your skills/network to inspire and help others.
Virtual support in hospitals: bilingual volunteers, musicians, artists, etc. who can help create content and support live workshops.
Event volunteers: Responsibilities include support at events with registration, raffle ticket sales, and setup and breakdown
Sponsorship volunteers: Responsibilities include cold calls to potential donors, prize inventory, and sponsor logo management
Office volunteers: Responsibilities include office admin and event planning tasks

Students: If you are interested in creating a fundraising activity or event with your school, please fill out this questionnaire. Please understand that we have no individual volunteering opportunities for students.
