I am Simon Nardia and I live in Edmond, Oklahoma. I am doing a fundraiser for children in Japan with cancer. I am making cranes because they are a symbol of peace and health in Japan. Each crane will be backed by a donation from someone like you and add to our cause.

Two of Simon’s cranes

As a bar mitzvah, I’ve been studying ways that I can help make an impact in the lives of those around me. After reading the story of Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes, I felt that raising not only funds but also awareness for childhood cancer is something that I could be passionate about. I am asking that every crane I make in the month leading up to my bar mitzvah will be backed with a monetary donation. In this I will be accomplishing both goals. Thank you.

Please help me in my endeavors to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer. In partnering with me we can make a difference in lives of those most vulnerable to the cruel nature of this disease. Thank you for you help!
